We’ve been intrigued by the Fibonacci sequence (0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, ….) recently and therein its appearance in nature and use in architecture. We chose our location in part because of its connection to nature. Could using the Fibonacci sequence in areas throughout the home help make the interior feel more connected to nature? How do we best use the sequence?

As an experiment we imagined our three story wall clad in fir boards that vary in width in sync with the sequence.
